Filming at the Park
Scott Elliot, is a documentary filmmaker making a film entitled The Trees which helps tell the story of the WTC memorial grove. In his research, he came across the work of US Forest Service research social scientists, Erika S. Svendsen, Ph. D. and Lindsay K. Campbell, Ph. D. and their work on the Living Memorials Project. He decided to expand his project to help tell the story of the many hundreds of memorials across the country that came before the WTC grove. On July 1, 2014 he visited Tribute Park with his crew and the social scientists to film and to interview the President of the Tribute Park board, Bernie Warnock.
